Alice G. Kipper

September 23, 1923 - January 1, 2013

Alice G. Kipper, 89, of Lincoln, died Tuesday (1-1-13). Born (9-23-23) in Springview, NE to Ora L. and Lula V. (Patterson) Mock. Married William J. Kipper on January 12, 1952. Graduated from Grand Island Business College, 1942. Alice was a secretary, retiring in 1985 from the Nebraska State Dept. of Ed. At retirement Alice enjoyed gardening, reading, and traveling with family. She was an excellent seamstress.

Family members include her husband, William J.; son, Dennis (Maureen) Kipper, Lincoln; daughters, Sharon (Pat) DiBiase, Omaha, Joann (Larry) Hanus, Olathe, KS, Patty (Tom) Schroer, Lincoln; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Barb Myers, Omaha, Bette Mock and Donna Kopec, San Carlos, CA; brother, Donald Mock, Lincoln. Preceded in death by parents, sister Marie Johnson, 6 brother-in-laws and 2 sister-in-laws.

Rosary: 7:00 pm Friday (1-4-13) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street, Mass of Christian

Burial: 10:00 am Saturday (1-5-13) St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 6126 Morrill, Father Nicholas Kipper officiating. Burial, 1:45 pm at Lincoln Memorial Park, gate #2.

Memorials to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Family greet, 5:00 – 7:00 Friday at Roper and Sons.
