Wendell worked on the Pillen Family Farms as a mechanic. He loved fishing, boating, spending time in the yard and outdoors, loved nature, fixing cars, and putting nuts and bolts together.
Family members include his daughter Sandra Robertson; sons John (Nancy) Re, James Re (fiancé Toni Kashmer), and Wesley (Micaela) Pratt; 12 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 1 on the way; brother Kieth Evans. Preceded in death by his parents, wife Darlene, brother Darrell, sisters Ally and Doris Ann, and son-in-law Kwamena Robertson.
Graveside service: 11:00 am Saturday, June 13, 2026, Rosehill Cemetery, Waverly, NE.
