Around 1975 I lived in Cheerio Apartments in Lincoln one door down from Steve. The first time I saw him walking out his door I thought it was Stan who I have known for a long time! I also remember he had a cool sports car at the time. Maybe a MG? Sad to hear about his passing. He was a good guy.

Lots of fun memories of Steve as we were involved with the Elks. He and Deborah loved to dance at our Omaha lodge and we loved watching them. They were always dressed to the nines,we loved seeing which hat Deborah would wear. RIP Steve, you’ll be missed.

I’d like to express my sincere condolences to the Wirth family in their loss of Steve. I’d been around Steve on only a few occasions and always found him to be interesting, kind and caring. God’s blessings and comfort to all of you.
