Survivors include: son, Todd Aron, daughter, Jennifer (Nicholas) Hubbard; grandchildren, Tyler and Talon Hubbard; sisters, Sandi (Jim) Good and Sherri (Gene) Steffes; brothers, Larry (Donna) Mohr, Steve (Pam) Mohr and Doug Mohr. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael and brother, Scott.
Gloria lived life to the fullest and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved reading, baking, hosting, knitting, water aerobics, playing Bunco and Mahjong, volunteering and gathering with her 2 grandchildren for board games. She cherished the time spent pursuing her hobbies and making lasting memories with those she loved by traveling.
She had a big heart and touched the lives of so many people. An active member of her church, her faith was strong, and she devoted much of her life to serving others. She volunteered her time generously and supported many organizations, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Aging Partners, Friendship Home, Mourning Hope, Matt Talbot, Orphan Grain Train, the Food Bank, the League of Women Voters, Widow to Widow, Circle, Loads of Love Laundry, and the Capital Humane Society.
Memorial service will be held August 28, 2026, at 11:00 am, at First -Plymouth Congregational Church, 20th & D St., Lincoln, NE. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Lincoln Public Schools
