George is survived by his wife, Susan; daughters, Lisa (Dave) Darlington Johnson and Julia Miller; son, David (Megan) Darlington; grandchildren, Taylor (Sarah) Darlington, Molly (Shane Brandt) Darlington, Elise (Trevor) Smith, Lukas Darlington, Bree (Treyson) Miller Bott, Corbin (Taylor) Miller, Molly (Marcus) Johnson Payne, Jake (Samantha) Johnson, and Noah (Adrienne) Johnson; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy (Greer) Werner. He is preceded in death by his parents and his son-in-law, Bryce Miller.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Faith Bible Church (6201 S 84th St, Lincoln, NE 68516).
