Andrew Curtis Jones 81, of Lincoln, NE passed away August 5, 2026. He was born May 17, 1945 in Scooba, MS to T.C. Jones and Luella (Washington) Jones.

Andrew moved to Lincoln, NE in 1965 and later married his first wife, Mary Alice (Trejo) Jones on August 23, 1969. Andrew retired from BSNF Railway.

Andrew is survived by his children, Darrell Jones (daughter-in-law, Carla Porter-Jones), Jefferey Jones (late wife, Melanie Falcon Jones) and Wendy Jones-McFarland (son-in-law, Bobby McFarland), all of Lincoln, NE. Siblings, Maggie Douglas, of Quitman, MS, Lilly Ruth Brown, of Atlanta, GA, Eva White, of Chicago, IL and Joe Jones, of Omaha, NE. Andrew is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, T.C and Luella Jones, late wife, Mary Alice Jones, siblings, Malcom Jones, Jim Henry Jones, Earline Douglas and Cleveland Jones, grandchildren, Terrell Jones, Terron Jones and Tayrell Jones, along with his great grandchild, Jaymoni Jennings.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 21, 2026 at Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel, 245 N 27th Street, Lincoln, NE.

Burial following the Funeral Service at Wyuka Cemetery, Lincoln, NE.
