With the exception of two years in Washington State, Kim lived in Nebraska, mostly Lincoln and then Waverly, with happy times also spent at her second home in South Bend. She was an avid Cornhusker football fan. Kim loved traveling and vacationing with her companion of 35 years, Bob Stickney. Kim’s travels took her to Las Vegas for the National Rodeo, Estes Park many times, and riding with Bob on his Harley to the annual Sturgis bike rally. Kim was blessed with many close friendships and had many interests including wine tastings at local wineries, horses, gardening, reading, outside activities, and architecture.
Kim is survived by her brother David (Elaine) Berger of Clinton, UT and several nephews and nieces. Her parents and sister, Luann Knudsen preceded Kim in death.
On June 20, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm we celebrate Kim and her life at Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel, 10851 N. 148th Street, Waverly, NE.
