Samuel A. Whitworth, 89, of Lincoln, passed away April 2, 2018. U. S. Air Force Korean War Veteran. Retired Vice President of First National Bank. He was a member of Capital City Footprinters, American Legion, VFW, 40 & 8, Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and American Numismatic Association.
Family members include his daughters, Melissa Torwirt, Tomahawk, AR, Gretchen Whitworth (Mike McWilliams) Colorado Springs, CO, granddaughter, Leta McWilliams, Colorado Springs, CO; sister, Marion Young, Dallas, TX; cousin John Whitworth, Lincoln. Preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Phyllis, wife, Louise, and son-in-law, Douglas Torwirt.
Private graveside services with a celebration of life service to be held at a later date.
