Peter D. Crawford, 72, of Lincoln, passed away September 7, 2016. Born February 5, 1944 in Boston, MA to Eldon Earl and Phyllis Nadine (Smith) Crawford. U. S. Navy Veteran. Ret. Maintenance Engineer for Welding Systems. Peter was closely associated with Boy Scout Troop #30 for over 60 years. He was instrumental with the Cornhusker Council COPE/Climbing committee. He received the Silver Beaver Award (1994) and the 25 years Veteran Award (2004).
Family members include his son, Peter W. (Michelle) Crawford, Lincoln; daughter, Anne R. (Randy) Wright, Pittsburg, PA; grandchildren, Taylor W. and Holden L. Crawford, Lincoln; brothers, Daniel E. (Laura) Crawford, Tampa, FL, Michael A. (Betsy) Crawford, W. Columbia, SC; sister, Linda M. Parks (James Mull), Jackson, TN; mother-in-law, Phyllis Cummins, Lincoln; brothers-in-law, William, Paul and Robert Cummins, and Pete Kendle; sister-in-law, Karen Goldenstein; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife, Constance.
Memorial Service: 9:00 a.m. Saturday (9-10-16) Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street.
