David Owen Clifton

David Owen Clifton, age 61, of Lincoln, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on April 10, 1951. David graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in Architecture.

David was a free-lance architectural photographer in Chicago, Illinois. He was also an avid cyclist and loved to build furniture.

He is survived by his mother, Phyllis Clifton; brothers, Ben and Dennis Clifton; sisters-in-law, RoJean Clifton and Simera Reynolds; nieces, Rachel Lade and Jennifer Oiler. Preceded in death by his father Keith Clifton.

David was all those things mentioned and much more. He was dating a friend of mine at the time Susan. That is how I met him. He was a very talented and creative person. He was also very patient with Susan. He really could make me laugh. For some reason he came to my mind today. I’m sorry to find out that he passed away. He often spoke about his family and Lincoln. I am very sorry for the profound loss his death must have caused. I know for the family it’s awhile ago but someone good is a loss that cannot be replaced. RIP David 🙏
