Obituary

Sean M. Gleason

September 25, 1969 - April 7, 2026

Sean M. Gleason, 56, of Waverly, Nebraska, passed away on April 7, 2026. Sean was born on September 25, 1969, in Lincoln, the community he proudly called home throughout his life.

Sean was a devoted father, son, brother, and friend who found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and being outdoors. He loved taking his dogs out to run, camping with family, boating, and enjoying nature whenever he could. One of Sean’s greatest passions was coaching his son Brock in football, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Whether it was a family gathering, a weekend outdoors, or simply time spent with those he loved most, Sean’s happiest moments were always surrounded by family.

Sean is lovingly survived by his girlfriend, Brenda; his children, Monica (28) and Brock (22); his mother, Bonnie Gleason; his brother, Ryan Gleason and Ryan’s wife, Heather Gleason, along with their children, Corie Gleason and Hailey Gleason; and his sister, Shannon Sintek and her husband, Lance Sintek, along with their son, Levi Sintek. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Star.

Sean was preceded in death by his father, Tony Gleason; his uncle, Mike Gleason; and his dog, Nash.

Sean will be remembered for his love of family, his passion for the outdoors, and the many memories he created with those closest to him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

A private funeral service will be held at a later.
