Stephen G. Lockert, 77, of Lincoln, passed away on September 9, 2026. Born to L.A. and Barbara (Swaney) Lockert on January 13, 1949, in Topeka, KS.

Stephen is survived by his children Matt (Brook) Lockert; Eric (Christine) Lockert; Grandchildren Jordan Lockert, Eli & Norah Lockert, & bonus grandchildren Drew & Audrey Erhart.

He is preceded in death by his wife Kathleen; his mother Barbara, father L.A., & stepmother Dorothy.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, September 16th, 2026, at Roper and Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE).
