Obituary

Benjamin “Ben” T. Younkin

May 8, 1987 - September 1, 2026

Benjamin “Ben” Tyler Younkin, 39, of Lincoln, Nebraska, passed away on September 1, 2026. Ben was born May 8, 1987, in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, to Charles and Eula Younkin.

Ben will be remembered for his unmistakable charisma, his kind heart, his incredible stubbornness, and the fierce way he loved the people who mattered to him. He was the kind of person people were simply drawn to, and those who knew him will have no shortage of stories to tell.

Ben loved the outdoors and especially hunting and fishing. Some of his favorite memories were made hunting alongside his dad, brothers, cousins, friends, and sons. He was also remarkably talented with his hands and had an incredible gift for gunsmithing, something he loved and took great pride in.

More than anything, Ben loved his family. He loved his wife, Morgan, and their four sons, Max, Tucker, Archer, and Cash, fiercely. His boys were his greatest pride, and the pieces of their dad they carry with them will be part of Ben’s legacy for years to come.

Ben is survived by his wife, Morgan; their sons, Max, Tucker, Archer, and Cash; his parents, Charles and Eula Younkin; his siblings, Chad Younkin, Brad and Nicole Younkin, Chet and Ashley Younkin, his nephew, Trevyn Younkin; his nieces, Aybrie, Gracyn, Kennely, Brooklyn, Brexley and Oaklyn Younkin, and many extended family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Ben’s life was far too short, and there should have been more time. He will be remembered for the laughter, stories, adventures, talents, and love he left behind.

He was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed.

Services will be held on Friday, September 11 at 10:30am at  Bethlehem Covenant Church, 18841 N 98th Street in Waverly, NE (68462).
