Elizabeth “Cindy” Jackson

Elizabeth “Cindy” Jackson, 73, passed away on September 1, 2026, in Lincoln, NE. She was born on November 28, 1952, to Keith and Elsie (Perrini) Hansen in Lincoln, NE.

Cindy was known for cooking amazing food, being an avid animal lover, and being the infamous “Aunt Cindy”. She always had a smile on her face and hugs that were given out freely. No one ever left her house hungry, angry, or sad. She was the glue for the family and will be forever in our hearts.

Cindy is survived by her husband, Ray Jackson, of Crete, NE; children, Rhelene Franssen, of Lincoln, NE, and Alisha Jackson, of Crete, NE; grandchildren, Tori Franssen, Liz Franssen, Reese Franssen (Brittany Montoya), Chase Winchester (Krista Weintz), Savana Winchester, Brooke Jackson, and Jasmine Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Dredon, Braycen, Kabren, Maislyn, Junior, Brandon Jr., Dezerai, and Jesse. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Brandon Jackson, daughter, Vanesa Winchester, and grandson, Brady Jackson.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, at Roper and Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516).
