Sara E. Haring, 97, widow of Ken Haring, of Lincoln, NE died Sept. 9, 2026. She was born January 6, 1929, in Springfield, MO to Charles and Nona (Coffman) Butler.

Sara was a retired secretary in the Math and Physics Departments at Nebraska Wesleyan University. She was a member of Bethany Christian Church, D.A.R where she was a former state regent, founding member of the Lincoln and Lancaster County Genealogical Society.

Family includes: sons, Greg Haring, Lincoln, NE, Brett (Karen) Haring, Coppell, TX; grandchildren, Bryan (Katie) Haring, Emily (Morgan) Thevarajoo; 3 great grandchildren. Preceded in death be parents and husband, Ken.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00am, Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at Wyuka Cemetery.
