Born to Elmer and Maryetta (Moeller) Weber in Marysville, KS, on November 2, 1938, Shirley was baptized May 27, 1943 and confirmed March 29, 1953 at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church, Marysville. She graduated from Marysville High School in May 1957. She was united in marriage to Richard “Dick” Pribyl on June 2, 1957 at Marysville, KS. Dick and Shirley were blessed as a couple for over 71 years. Three children were born to this marriage. Over the years Shirley worked as a dental assistant, on the staff at Eastmont Towers, and as a Wal-Mart associate where she retired.
Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, talking to friends on the phone daily, playing backgammon and cards, making Christmas stockings, walking and most of all she enjoyed the children in her life.
Shirley is survived by her husband Richard “Dick” Pribyl, sons Brad Pribyl, Richard “Rick” (Mary) Pribyl;Grandchildren Kamryn Pribyl-Noble, Grant Donnan, Michael (Leah) Donnan, Trever Pribyl; Great Grandchildren Elijah Pribyl-Glass, Lydian Newberg and many nieces, nephews and special friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Father & Mother-in-law Elmer & Blanche Pribyl; Daughter Shari Ann Donnan; Brother Carl (Gloria)Weber, Sister Arlene (Paul) Roever; Brother-in-law Leroy Pribyl, Sisters-in-law Lorraine Vokach, Delores Holmes, Jeanette Smith and Glenadine Mencl.
