Kevin Roderick Douglas, 76, of Lincoln, passed away July 20, 2026. Born February 27, 1950, in Quincy, Illinois to Melvin Douglas and Beatrice Robinson.

Kevin served in the U. S. Air Force retiring as Master Sergeant (1975-1990).

Family members his children Rashaan K. Douglas, Aubrey, TX, Lawrence J. Douglas, New York City, NY, and Shemeka A. Gibbs (Franklin), Lincoln; 7 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and11 siblings; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Carl and Terry Douglas.

Funeral service: 9:00 am Friday, July 31, 2026, Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 O Street. Interment will be at 11:00 am in Omaha National Cemetery.

Visitation with family present from 6-7:30 pm on Thursday, July 30, 2026, Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel.

Memorials to Meals on Wheels or the Star City Parade.
