Dale was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Albert, Joe, and Sparky; his sisters Barb, Betty, Norma, and Patty; and his two wives, Marilyn and Teri.
He is survived by his sisters Irene and Nancy; his sons Geoffrey and Greggory; also many beloved nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
Dale spent his career as a welder, working in Falls City and Lincoln, Nebraska. He was a hardworking man with a strong work ethic.
He had a lifelong love for sports and the outdoors. Dale was an avid bowler, slow-pitch softball player, and fisherman. In his later years, he enjoyed playing golf. He was a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs and Nebraska football.
Above all, Dale cherished his family and friends. He had a great sense of humor, always ready with a joke, and loved spending time with those closest to him.
A graveside service will be held on August 8th, 2026 at 10:00am at the Tothill Cemetery in Davey, NE. Reception to immediately follow at the Davey Community Center (17810 N 2nd St, Davey, NE 68336).
