Obituary

Lindsay “Lou” Loree Strack

February 10, 2003 - March 12, 2026

Lindsay “Lou” Loree Strack was born on February 10, 2003, in Lincoln, Ne. Lindsay was known for her sass, stubbornness, and great taste in music. She was the social butterfly who loved to be out and about around town. One of Lindsay’s most defining characteristics was her love for people. She loved to sit at the mall and watch all the people move around. She also loved to watch people while attending various breweries in Lincoln. With a lot of these people she knew or just met, she loved to hold their hand.

One of Lindsay Strack’s traits was that she was a fighter. She fought to have her way. She fought to be the center of attention. Most important of all, she fought to defy the odds. She fought to celebrate her 23rd birthday.

Lindsay earned her wings and passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2026, surrounded by love and the three people who loved her the most: her mom, her dad, and her older brother. She will forever be their “Lindsay Lou”.

Lindsay is survived by her parents, Jeremy and Konna (Clark) Strack of Lincoln, brother, Mitchell Strack, who is currently serving his country in the Air Force stationed in South Korea, grandparents Carl and Sharon Clark (Omaha), and Linda Strack (Lincoln). Aunts and Uncles, Heidi and Brian Larson (Omaha), Erik Clark (Lincoln), Tim and Monica Strack (Omaha), and an honorary uncle, Travis Heller (Lincoln).

Preceded in death by her grandfather, Charles Strack.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 16, 2026, at Roper and Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516). A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at Roper and Sons South Chapel.

Lindsey was in my kindergarten class. She enjoyed being with her friends. One memory that stands out to me is when I was reading a story to the class. Lindsey inched up close to me so I could pick her up and hold her while I finished the story. She would be so excited when she saw me in the halls. I so wish I had heard of her passing earlier. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Strack family. Lindsey was a special person! I know how much she’ll be missed.

Thank you for sharing your daughter with us. She loved hanging out with us when Vicki was caring for her. Whether it was in our back yard, at the Farmer’s Market, or at Costco, she was happy to be out and about, people watching. She was a joy.
