Kirk Taylor Gemmell, 53, of Lincoln, died Monday (2-18-13). Born (4-15-59) in Lincoln, NE to Gene and Eileen (Horner) Gemmell. Kirk attended Lincoln East High School. He worked in construction and was currently in maintenance at Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach. He was baptized in the Christ Methodist Church. Kirk was a loving father, son and brother. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Survived by sons, Justin (Celissa) Gemmell, Brandon Gemmell; parents, Gene and Eileen Gemmell; brothers, Kevin (Jayne) Gemmell, all of Lincoln, Doug Gemmell, Seattle, WA; 7 grandchildren, Allison and Gavin Weisser, Sydney, Wyatt, Brandon Ky, Heather and Jessica Gemmell; nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by son, Aaron.
Funeral Service: 1:30 pm Thursday (2-26-13) at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 ‘O’ Street with Pastor John Kunze officiating.

Visitation: 2-8 pm Wednesday with family present from 5-7 pm at Roper and Sons.
