We spent a few Easter Sundays with Ted and Laurie in Kansas City. Laurie was always warm and Ted told interesting stories about his work and travels to small towns within the state. Laurie’s quilts were always on display (and in use) at the house!

Some of our favorite times were dinner at Ted and Laurie’s home. Hospitality was wam and lovely. Conversation: lively. Dinner: delicious. Dessert: usually a fabulous array of homemade cookies. Laurie and Ted, our dear friends. — Martha

We were fortunate enough to live across the street from Ted and Laurie for 31 years. That made us the welcome beneficiary of many plates of delicious cookies. Laurie was a wonderful baker, friend and neighbor. Thanks Laurie
