Obituary

Talia Mae Thompson

August 27, 2025 - September 4, 2025

Talia Mae Thompson was born on August 27, 2025, at 23 weeks, at 7:12 a.m. in Lincoln, Nebraska, to her loving parents, Torin and Lynzey Thompson. She weighed 1 lb. 2.5 oz. Talia passed away peacefully in her parents’ arms on September 4, 2025.

Though her life with us was so short, Talia made a profound impact on all who knew her — and even on many who never had the chance to meet her. She was deeply loved and brought immeasurable joy. Tiny but mighty, she showed incredible strength. From the way her little fingers wrapped tightly around Mommy and Daddy’s, to her sweet button nose, to the gift of having her momma’s eyes — every detail about her was perfect and will be cherished forever.

While her family’s hearts ache at losing their precious baby so soon, they remain profoundly grateful for the time they got to spend with their sweet Talia.

Talia is survived by her parents, Torin and Lynzey Thompson; her grandparents, Ron and Leta Thompson and David and Shelly Raffaeli; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Talia Mae will never be forgotten. She rests safely in Jehovah God’s loving memory, and Torin and Lynzey look forward to the day very soon when they are reunited with her.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (1200 5th St., Milford, NE 68405). For those unable to attend in person, there will also be an option to join on Zoom.

Lil TT she is so beautiful and mighty. She fought hard and now is able to just rest a little bit and soon enough she will be beaming with joy smiling from ear to ear, just waiting for you both to pick her up once again in your loving arms in a perfect new world where you all will never have worries again. Until that awesome day that’s right around the corner comes, stay strong, keep fighting the fine fight, and keep remembering your sweet little baby girl as we all will. And keep fixing your mind on the wonderful promised hope that Jehovah God through his son Jesus Christ has promised you will come to fruition. We love you guys and may Jehovah continue to hold your hand now and on into the new world where you will soon be reunited. Much love.

– Joe, Angie, Kashus and Kruz Coleman
