Ronald M. “Ron” DeBord, 85, Lincoln, passed away August 20, 2017. Born October 4, 1931 in Palmer, NE to George and Iris (Wegner) DeBord, Sr. Korean War U. S. Navy Veteran. Ret. Highway Design Engineer for State of Nebraska; Geologist.
Family members include his wife of 62 years, B.J. DeBord; son, Ed (Pam) DeBord, Castle Rock, CO; daughter, Sue DeBord (Greg Schoning), Arnolds Park, IA; grandchildren, Danielle DeBord, Seattle, WA and Hanna Schoning, Sioux City, IA; step-grandchildren, Michaela Dohlman and Megan Schoning, Clear Lake, IA; sister, Lorene Bailey, Guthrey, OK. Preceded in death by parents; brother, George, Jr.
Per Ron’s request no service will be held.
