Share a Memory or Condolence

December 30, 2021

I met Doug at the LSK field last year. Always happy, he was eager to teach me how to fly. Losing someone we know is never easy, but we must be thankful for the beautiful moments and memories we shared with them. May care and love of those around you provide comfort and peace to get you through the days ahead. Doug, we will meet up again some day in heaven. May my condolences bring you comfort and may my prayers ease the pain of this loss.

To the Wilkinson Family, My prayers of comfort are for you at this time. Doug was one a small number of people I would call a friend. Though we have not been in contact for more years than we knew each other, I still consider him a friend. Doug marched to his own beat and there are many memories of our time in high school that I will cherish forever. I guess the Lord needed another drummer boy.

I met Doug just a few years ago when I joined the Lincoln Sky Knights RC Club. Immediately Doug was very welcoming and was always willing to help me and answer any questions that I had. He was always the first to say “nice” when you made a great landing. He was fun to be around and I have truly enjoyed the time I got to spend with him. He will be so missed on early Saturday mornings at the flying field! Prayers to Doug’s family…

I met Doug as a SkyKnights club member. Instantly enjoyed his friendly ways. You can’t help but love this guy. Sorely missed. We’re all better off having spent time and a lot of fun and laughs with him and the RC group!

Doug and I connected thru the rc club. We both enjoyed time together. I gave him the label. FTD. which stands for full throttle Doug. he sure could fly those jets at full throttle and could do it with grace. I will miss him dearly
