Michael Steven Schleicher , 73, of Lincoln, passed away Thursday (8-27-2026). Born (07/17/1953) in Roswell, New Mexico to William and Patricia Schleicher.

Mike married the love of his life (08/24/1979) Jeanette Schleicher. Mike was a Conductor at BNSF for 42 years. Mike enjoyed his spending time with his grandchildren and hanging out with friends at his neighborhood pub after retiring from the railroad.

Family members include daughter, Katie (Steven) Green; son, Brent (Kendra) Schleicher; son, Andrew Schleicher; grandchildren, Duane, Henry, Elijah, Isaac, Kamani and Kaniyah; sister, Sharon (Jerry) Mayfield; and multiple nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by wife Jeanette and his parents
