Frank John Hruza

December 12, 1943 - June 7, 2026

Frank John Hruza, 82, passed away on June 7, 2026, in Lincoln, NE. He was born on December 12, 1943, to Frank and Elizabeth (Pallas) Hruza in Lincoln, NE.

He was a retired bus driver at Star Tran and a huge Husker & KC Chiefs fan. Frank was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, attending their many sporting events. He also loved keeping in touch with his Yankee Hill friends.

Frank is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sandra; daughter, Sheril (Tim) Langston; son, Dennis (Kim) Hruza; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Rose Abrahamson and Patricia Hruza; brother, Robert (Beth) Hruza; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at Roper and Sons South Chapel (3950 Hohensee Dr, Lincoln, NE 68516). A burial will take place following the service/luncheon at Fairview Cemetery (8400 Adams St, Lincoln, NE 68507).

Memorials are designated to Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach.
