Marvin grew up and spent his entire life in Firth, Nebraska, where he was a lifelong member of Living Life Church, graduated from Firth High School, married and raised his family. He will best be remembered for his love for his family, his generous and compassionate heart, and his sneaky sense of humor. Marvin was an avid supporter of his children and grandchildren in all their activities. He loved music and sharing his talents through playing his harmonica and many years singing with the Homestead Harmonizers.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Anna Weber (Comer), his parents, George and Daisy Weber, his son, Kevin Weber and his siblings and their spouses; Glenn Weber (Phyllis) and Doris Hall (Marvin). Brother-in-law, Alvin Ross Comer. Marvin is survived by Children; Kendall Weber (DeAnn), Karen Harms (Mel), Kris Morrison (Jeff). Grandchildren; Adam Weber (Melanie), Ben Weber (Alyssa), Haley Christie (Tucker), Grant, (fiancè Kate Drueke), Avery and Allie Morrison, Derek and Missy Spitsnogle, Jessica Harms. Great-grandchildren; Evelyn Dvorak, Eloise Weber, Owen Weber, Wyatt Weber, Reagan, Ashton and Mack Spitsnogle, one great-granddaughter yet to be born. Sisters-in-law, Maude Suedemeier (Stan) and Sharon Comer, along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be 5:30pm -7:30pm Monday, March 2, 2026, at Metcalf Funeral Home, Firth, NE. Memorial service will be 10:30am, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Living Life Church, Firth, NE. Memorials designated to Living Life Church and Firth Fire and Rescue.
