Marlene Joyce Nichelson, 84, Valparaiso, passed away November 1, 2018 in Lincoln. Born November 2, 1933 to Orville and Mabel (Magnuson) Nelson. Lifetime resident of Valparaiso. Ret. caregiver, Home Instead Senior Care. Member of Valparaiso United Methodist Church.
Surviving family members include her children; Connie (Craig) Hanson, Des Moines, IA, Mike Nichelson, Silverthorne, CO, Cindy Prochaska, Dwight, NE and Patty (Dan) Coufal, Dwight, NE, Kristi Buresh, Ulysses, NE and Kim (Wallace) Wilkins, Milford, NE; 24 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald Nichelson, son Bill Nichelson, son-in-law Danny Buresh, grandson Donald E. Nichelson, and granddaughter Charlotte Wilkins.
