Mark was a lot of things, but he was also always so uplifting, patient, and understanding. His character and the way he portrayed himself was always so humble. He was always focused on living in the present moment, not dwelling on the past, even if it was just a ride somewhere or a couple texts, he was always living in those moments. We always appreciated that about him.
I’ve been able to read through a lot of his papers that he had, some journal entry’s and such. It has been so difficult to go through but equally so gratifying to have a way to learn more about him. Mark’s sarcastic persona was definitely passed on to his daughter as well as his ability to always try and view things half glass full.
He was not perfect. He would be the first to admit that.
