Mildred Ricka (Janssen) Radebaugh Warren

October 22, 1941 - May 16, 2026

Mildred Ricka (Janssen) Radebaugh Warren, daughter of Frank and Elsie (Johnson) Janssen, was born on October 22, 1941, in Beatrice, Nebraska. She was confirmed in the Lutheran faith on April 21, 1957. Mildred graduated from Filley High School near Beatrice. After graduation, Mildred worked at Form Fit in Beatrice.

Mildred was united in marriage to Harold Radebaugh on October 18, 1964, at the American Lutheran Church in Filley. They were blessed with one son, Barry. Mildred and Harold resided in Wymore their entire married life. Harold was a jeweler and he and Mildred worked side by side at Harold’s Jewelry for 18 years.

Mildred then worked at Good Samaritan Society in Wymore for several years in housekeeping and laundry. She later cleaned houses in Wymore and Beatrice and delivered papers.

Harold passed away in 2008. Mildred married Robert Warren on September 11, 2010, at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Wymore. Robert passed away in 2022.

Mildred’s faith was very important to her. She loved attending church and bible study. When she resided in Wymore, she was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school and bible school. Mildred moved to Beatrice after her marriage to Robert, and they attended Cornerstone Lutheran Church. She later moved to Lincoln to be closer to her family and became a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

Mildred loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, Brent and Kaitlyn. She was recently able to meet her first great-grandchild, William. Mildred enjoyed animals, especially cats and dogs. She also loved doing puzzles, going for walks in the neighborhood, her flowers, and making tie blankets.

Mildred is survived by her son, Barry (Karen) Radebaugh; grandchildren, Brent (Faith) Radebaugh and Kaitlyn (Erich) Kenow; great-grandson, William Kenow; stepchildren, Robert (Graciela) Warren, Debbie (Lynn) Cupp, Jerry Warren, Barbara Ann Warren, Susan (Joe) Warren Guthrie, Dawn (John) Carsey Shelton, and Dan (Karen) Warren; sister-in-law, Shirley (Steve) Kettelhut; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Harold and Robert; her sisters, Violet (Jerry) Fletcher and Shirley Janssen (Virgil Schildt).

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 22, 2026, at Messiah Lutheran Church (1800 S 84th St, Lincoln, NE 68506). An interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. May 22, 2026, at Wymore Cemetery.

Memorials are designated to Messiah Lutheran Church.

I worked with Millie at Wymore Good Samaritan and she was my paper lady. Also knew Harold from the jewelry store and Bob from the gas station. She was always smiling. Go rest high on that mountain 🌄
