Margaret Lela Buckner, 96, of Lincoln, passed away April 8, 2016. Born June 5, 1919 in Randolph, Nebraska to Reuben and Maggie (McClain) Delozier. Married Louis F. Johnson on January 28, 1939. They farmed in the Randolph and Magnet vicinity until moving to Lincoln in 1956. Louis passed away on August 28, 1971. Five years later Margaret married Ernest Hugh Buckner, he passed away in 1986. Margaret worked in Lincoln Public Schools, Tabitha and volunteered at Lincoln General Hospital. She loved to walk.
Family members include her son, Richard Johnson, daughter, Darlene (Howard) Robin, all of Soda Springs, ID; 6 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, husbands, Louis Johnson and Ernest Buckner, son, Darold Johnson, 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 2 grandsons and a step-son.
Graveside Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday (4-11-16) Randolph Cemetery, Randolph, NE
