After high school, she attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, graduating with an Interior Design degree. During college, she participated in a variety of activities, most notably UNL choirs, food studies and working in the libraries. This was also where she met Alfred. They celebrated 52 years of marriage in May.
Linda is survived by her husband Alfred; daughters Jennifer (Kyle) Sajevic, Lincoln, Heather (Brian) Graham, St. Jospeh, MO; brother Les (Veronica) Elwonger, Trinity, FL; grandsons Caleb Sajevic, Josh Sajevic and Carter Graham, sisters-in-law Patsy (Bill) Barth, Nita (Gary) Wilcox and Rhonda Stark, and numerous nephews/nieces and great nephews/nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Randy Stark.
Visitation with family present, will be Thursday, July 9 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at South Gate United Methodist Church, 3500 Pioneers Blvd, Lincoln.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Roper & Sons South Chapel, 3950 Hohensee Drive (south of 40th & Yankee Hill). In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to South Gate Women in Faith and Alzheimer’s Association.
