Kenneth was a general agent for Security Mutual Life and Ameritas. His main focus was his family, and his favorite role was “Papa”.
Ken is survived by his wife Judith; daughter Arlene (Doug) DeLaet; grandchildren Drew and Cole Chancellor; and stepson Chad (Vera) Anderson.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his first wife Janice; son Gary Carpenter.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5th, 2026, from 4-7PM at Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel (4300 O St. Lincoln, NE)
A funeral service will be at 2:00PM on Friday, November 6, 2026, at Horner Lieske McBride and Kuhl Funeral Home (2421 Avenue A, Kearney, NE 68847). Visitation will start at 1:00PM at the funeral home.
Memorials can be designated to the People’s City Mission, or the Food Bank.
