Dorothy Y. Hubertus, 87, Lincoln, died Thursday (11-17-11). Born (11-6-24) in Lincoln to George Arthur and Lora (Yates) Manifold. Retired social worker, Lancaster County Welfare Dept., Community School liaison with Lincoln Public Schools. Former member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, current member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was also a member of PEO Chapter EE, Altar Society, Lincoln Public Schools Crafters Group and Lincoln General Hospital Auxiliary. Dorothy was a graduate of Lincoln High School and the University of Nebraska.
Family members include daughter, son-in-law: Paula S. and Donald D. Kucera; son, daughter-in-law: David G. and Kathleen Hubertus; granddaughters and grandsons-in-law: Katharine E. and Eric R. Walker, Anne E. and Andrew D. Munger; grandson: David M. Kucera; great granddaughter: Maddison R. Walker and another great grandchild expected soon, all of Lincoln; two nephews. Preceded in death by husband, Norman; parents; and two sisters.

Mass of Christian Burial: 1 p.m. Wednesday (11-23-11) St. Joseph Catholic Church, 7900 Trentwood Drive. Msgr. Liam M. Barr, officiating.
