Billy “Bill” Ray Kroese, 65, Lincoln, died Friday, 10/9/15. He was born 10/26/49 in Lincoln, NE to Herman and Opal (Kamp) Kroese. He was a retired Boiler Repairman for the University of Nebraska. He was a Vietnam Army Veteran and member of the DAV, Post 7 and American Legion.
Family includes: wife, Cindy; children and spouses, Scott (Caroline) Kroese, Paris, France, Michele (Aaron) Peterson, Holly Kroese and Brandy Kroese, all of Lincoln; siblings, Kenneth (Sue) Kroese, Waverly, Carolyn Gable, Waverly and Nancy Kroese, Lincoln; 9 grandchildren; mother-in-law, Marge McMorran, Lincoln and sister-in-law, Lori (Jerry) Maher, Lincoln. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Eldon and grandson, Aaron, Jr., brother-in-law, Dick Gable, and father-in-law, Bill McMorran.
Graveside services, 10:00 am, Tuesday, Rosehill Cemetery, Waverly, NE.
A Celebration of Life, Sunday 10/18/15 at DAV Post 7, 3901 N 70th St., Lincoln, NE from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Cremation, no visitation.
Memorials may be given to DAV, Post 7 or Monarch Hospice.
