Betty J. Gutknecht, 97, passed away October 3, 2019 in Lincoln. Born April 4, 1922 in Hurdsfield, ND to Andrew and Lydia (Schmitke) Weisz. Member of College View Seventh Day Adventist Church and various groups within the church.

Survived by: daughter & son-in-law, Sheila (William) Shea; son & daughter-in-law, Cordell (Rhonda) Gutknecht; grandchildren & spouses, Branon (Robin) Shea, Tara (Rod) Lazo, Corey (Ashlee) Gutknecht, Brianne (Robert) Reynolds, Courtney (Casey) Bartlett; great-grandchildren, Ryker Lazo, Nolan, Camdyn & Ian Shea, Branson & Alexis Gutknecht; brother, Robert Weisz; sisters & brother-in-law, Virginia Widicker, Dorothy Weisz, Dessa Hardin, Helen (Don) Myres; brothers-in-law & spouse, Arnold (Kris) Gutknecht, Richard Gutknecht; sister-in-law & spouse, Carol (Dale) Pffaf.

Funeral Service 11:00am Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019 at College View Seventh Day Adventist Church (4801 Prescott Ave.)

Public visitation with family greeting friends Monday, Oct. 7th from 6:00-7:30pm at Roper & Sons ‘O’ Street Chapel (4300 ‘O’ Street)
