Adele (Greene) Streitwieser

January 1, 1927 - May 6, 2008

Adele (Greene) Streitwieser, 81, passed away Tuesday, (5-6-08) at her home in Lincoln, NE. She taught special education at Lefler Jr. High in Lincoln and received her doctorate in education from UNL. She was active with Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, Chapter BR P.E.O. and the 6:30 a.m. Mermaids.

Survived by her daughter and son-in-law Susan and Kevin Schaaf of Omaha, brother and sister-in-law Earl Jr. and Frances Greene of Omaha, sister-in-law and husband Mary and Robert Chase and brother-in-law Robert Koefoot all of Grand Island, NE, grandchildren Jill Dolnicek of Denver, CO, Jana and Nathan Schaaf of Omaha, and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Earl George and Vera Mae (Harrison) Greene, her husband and son, Richard W. and Douglas R. Streitwieser and sisters Gertrude (Billie Greene) Post and Vera (Bobbie Greene) Koefoot and brother-in-law Thomas Post.

Memorial Service: 10:00 a.m. Friday (5-16-08) Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 6001 A Street. Rev. Catherine Scott officiating.

Inurnment in Holy Trinity Episcopal Church Columbarium.

No visitation/cremation.
