I am so glad I met Harry in 1998! He was a great friend and always treated me and my sons like one of his own. We had so many great times throwing horseshoes (which he rarely lost a match) and going to Husker games. I remember when I needed to replace my roof Harry showed up with his dump truck and backed in the driveway and said “you can load your old roofing in this”! At that point in my life I had only been in Lincoln for 3 years and knew very few people, and was a struggling construction worker. Not only did he provide the truck and his time, he hauled away the debris and wouldn’t accept payment from me. Harry was a man of integrity that I learned so much from. He will be truly missed- Linda I am so sorry for your loss!

Harry was a great guy and life of the party at any he attended. I served with him on the National Lica Board and did his best for the organization. He will be missed by all that knew him.

My memory of Harry was his kindness and hospitality to me at the tailgate before the Huskers game. I was in Nebraska on vacation from Scotland and he took me under his wing, plied me with food and drink and introduced me to all his friends. Plus a memorable evening when, at a restaurant, he encouraged me to eat unmentionable parts of a turkey! The world will be a sadder place with his passing. RIP, Harry..

My wife Sunny and I enjoyed many parties and just hanging out with Harry and Linda. Some of the greatest memories will be Harry’s infamous tailgating at the Husker games. Not to mention those Martini Fridays Solving all the world’s problems. We’re going to miss you Harry. Rest in peace
