Harold O. “Bud” Gibson, Jr., 88 of Waverly passed away July 26, 2018. Born July 2, 1930 in Huron, SD to Harold O. and Fern (Britton) Gibson, Sr. Residing for many years in Freeport, Il, Columbia Heights, MN and then moving to Waverly NE in 2010. Harold was a U.S. Korean War Veteran and member of American Legion Post #0560 in Minnesota. His careers included, livestock buyer, mobile home management/sales, auto sales and building maintenance

Harold enjoyed his time volunteering at the Waverly Library and Bryan East Hospital, watching the Cubs play, and spending time and taking fishing trips with his dear friends of the McDonalds coffee group.

Family members include his daughters, Leslie (Scott) Engeseth, Redding, CAa and Allison (Kevin) Knouse, Dakota, IL; son Britton (Amy) Gibson, Freeport, IL; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren with a 3rd due in November. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, both wives Joan and Irene, sister Phyllis and companion Donna.

Memorial service will be held at 11am, Saturday August 18th at Roper and Sons Waverly Chapel, 10851 North 148th St with Rev. Jacob Cloud officiating.

No Visitation/Cremation
