Richard Ennis Dillon, 81, of Lincoln passed away on April 26, 2026. Born March 27, 1945, in Lincoln, NE to Ennis and Gyneth Dillon.

Rich loved Husker football (and tailgating), the Denver Broncos, college basketball (Go Zags) and car racing, especially NASCAR and Sprint Car. He enjoyed many NASCAR trips with his friends and went to Knoxville for the Sprint Car Nationals for over 50 years. He loved hanging out with friends, having a drink, telling stories, and singing Karaoke. Among his other favorite things to do were camping, blackjack and going out to breakfast.

Family members include his daughter Jennifer (John) Bridgmon, special friend Austin Greiner, and many friends he considered family.

Jennifer, we are so sorry for the loss of your Dad. Wanda, Sandi and I were his first cousins from Missouri. We have many memories of him as a child. Of course Wanda knew him as an adult. He was Butch to us. May God be by your side during this time.
