Norman O. Vollertsen, 89, of Palmyra, passed away December 21, 2015. Born October 30, 1926 in Berger, MO to Harry and Verona (Schaeffer) Vollertsen. WWII U. S. Army Veteran. Ret. 1984 after 35 yrs. at Enron Corporation, lifetime local area farmer. Member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, Palmyra, NE.
Family members include his sons, Mike (Rita), Rick and special friend Roxane Earnest; daughters, Julie (Leo) Melli and Amy (Tom) Fitzpatrick; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brother, Russell; sister, Phyllis (Larry) Olson; brother-in-law, Don Vinson. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Elva; son, Randy and sister, Virginia Vinson.
Memorial Service: 1:00 p.m. Monday (12-28-15) Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 955 C St., Palymra, NE with Pastor Mark Ekstrom officiating. Burial in Rosewood Cemetery, Palmyra.
