Luella Mae Oltman, 79, a long time resident of Lincoln, died Monday (8-17-09). Born (3-7-30) in Cedar Rapids, NE to Jess and Ivy (Bishop) Richards. Luella held a variety of jobs in her lifetime. Most importantly was her work with Senior Companions, Foster Grandparents Program, and Teacher’s aide position at Everett Elementary School.
Luella is survived by her children, Charles (Chris) Richards, Stephen Richards, Celia Brooks, Paula Martin, Kim Pickett, Jeff Oltman, Amy Oltman, her 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, August 21, 2009 at Roper and Sons Chapel, 4300 O Street with Reverend Rusty Miller officiating. No visitation. Family visitation will follow the service. Inurnment will be at the Malcolm Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be donated to Everett Elementary School.
