We will miss this beloved Veteran that we had hoped to get to know better with beautiful wife and friend, Dottie. From the first day of meeting a little over a year ago at a Veteran Buddy Check, to the very last Buddy Check, Don was a gentleman and very thoughtful to always include Steve. Grateful to have known Don and to know he loved his wife and children and their children very much. We will walk beside Dottie and the kids this time forward . Thank you , Veteran and Friend, Don. You are already missed more than words can say.

Don was one of the first devoted regulars at our Lincoln Northeast Rocket senior coffee. He was the one that usually reminded us in a text.. adding that little crazy joke. He made sure all were welcome. We will miss Don. Prayers for comfort in this difficult time.

Don and I were neighbors growing up and worked together for a few years too. We would run into each other a lot at Hyvee grocery store where he had coffee with his friends and when I came in he would always wave and say hi when he saw me. Don was a good guy and will be missed very much. Condolences to his family.
