I stumbled upon his passing a few days ago and reflected upon his influence on me back in the late seventies at Lincoln High School. He taught me the process, the artistry in building tools from raw metal. I still have: a Ball Peen Hammer, a Tack Hammer, Vehicle Jack Stands, a Meat Tenderizer and two special Brass/Aluminum candle stick holders (that I gave to Mother and who had always cherished them) from his instruction. When I have used them through the years (still do), I reflect on where they came from and always remembered and respected the instructor who had the patience to teach me how to make them! Thanks Art! Be at Peace now and thanks for the knowledge and memories! (an Army Vet as well)
