Lisa Renate Cunningham, 86, of Lincoln, NE passed away August 24, 2026. She was born May 15, 1940 to Johan and Anna (Hartmann) Otto in Germany.
Lisa loved all this natural and living. She loved flowers, planting, tending to and harvesting for arrangements. She loved wild life, watching squirrels and rabbits frolicking, the birds eating her seeds. No animal was ever chased out of her yard, no matter how big or small.
Lisa lived for and loved entertaining. Family and friends were welcomed with genuine enthusiasm. Her favorite time of the year was the Christmas season. Christmas season always started four days after Thanksgiving and lasted until the middle of January.
Listed loved traveling. She loved it enough that she organized, coordinated, hosted and chaperoned group tours of up to 30 people to Europe. Local farmers who had hardly ever left the county signed up and had the time of their lives. She and her husband, Bill, collected pictures of all the state capitals, only missing 10 or less. Most of these trips were done in a pickup truck, which they camped out of.
Lisa had a large and loving heart. She loved talking. Conversation was a necessity. Class and dignity were instinct. Manners, respect, being courteous and honesty were things she practiced and expected in return.
She is survived by her sons, Kevin John Clemens and Michael William Clemens; granddaughters, Nicole Lee (Slade) North, Amy Leann (Nathon) Adams and Kaylee Jean (Trace) Gordanier; great grandchildren, Denver Rylan Adams and Nixon Carter Adams.
Preceded in death by her parents and husband, William “Bill”.
