Virginia “Ginger” Mae Hageman

April 15, 1928 - February 14, 2024

Virginia “Ginger” Mae Hageman, 95, of Lincoln, NE, passed away February 14, 2024. She was born April 15, 1928 in Lincoln, to John Wesley and Isabelle Mae (Covey) Lampshire.

Ginger worked many years as a dental Receptionist and was a member of Lincoln Berean Church. She loved the Lord and all her family and friends. She loved life, caring and giving. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, card playing, hospitality, and was an avid Husker fan.

She is survived by her children, Dale (Linda) Hageman, of Norman, OK, Karen (Allan) Harmer, of Noblesville, IN, and Jim (Laura) Hageman, of Omaha, NE; 10 grandchildren; and 30 great grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joe, and brother, Dr. Earl Lampshire.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 am Monday, February 19, 2024 at Lincoln Berean Church, 6400 S. 70th Street, Lincoln, NE.

Visitation will be held 5:00-7:00 pm Sunday, February 18, 2024 at Metcalf Funeral Home, 245 N. 27th Street, Lincoln, NE.

Burial at Fairview Cemetery, Lincoln, NE.
