I am Sandra’s niece and I was lucky to be there and help while she was sick. We went multiple times to the hospital and we got her a rice crispy from the vending machine(her favorite snack). My dad, uncle and I had the pleasure of putting a ramp up for her that she loved. Before she passed we got to have a good moment looking through pictures and getting one last thing one as a family. We also got to spend the last moments with her the Wednesday before she got passed, which I am very grateful for. 😢

I grew up across the street from Jeremy and Kevin on Otoe Street, living there until 2002 or so. I’ve known the family literally since I was a baby, and have nothing but fond memories of Paul & Sandra. I spent countless hours over at their house, playing with their dog Daisy, and playing video games with Jeremy and Kevin. I remember how she would take us to the old Gateway bowling alley for our leagues, and I remember her time at Saratoga as well, as we all went there. When I heard the news I was deeply shocked and saddened. My thoughts and prayers go out to Paul, Jeremy, Kevin, and the rest of the Machovec family. Love you guys

My deepest condolences to all of Sandra’s family. We grew up together in the small town of Dodge celebrating the same birthday and graduating high school together. I had not seen her in many years but was happy to read she had such a fun, rewarding life filled with love from all of you. May she Rest In Peace.

Sandra’s dad worked for my dad for many years. She was my classmate from kindergarten through senior year. I hadn’t seen her since we graduated until about 4 years ago. I ran into her at an outdoor concert at Zorinsky Park. We had a wonderful visit. So thankful for that.
