My message is simply to Carol as my vision of the State Farm I was part of included my conversations with Carol and Rex when I was into the Lincoln offices. Rex and Carol always made me feel a real part of State Farm. I’ve always been in awe of those first days when we put the first computers into the agent offices. Thank you to Rex and Carol for being there for us in the field.

I am so sorry to learn of Rex’s passing. He was a big part of my early years at State Farm and I will always appreciate his wisdom and direction, though often a little unconventional! Carol and family, my deepest sympathies to you at this difficult time. May you find peace in wonderful memories of Rex.

Carol, I am so sorry to hear of Rex’s passing. HE was truly one of a kind and will be missed by many. I always enjoyed golfing against him in the SF leagues (both men’s and couples). I always seem to play my best when we played against him. He would always say to me, 12 handicap my @$$! and give me the Rex Snyder sarcastic laugh. Thoughts and Prayers to you and the family.

Deepest sympathy to Carol and all of Rex’s family and friends. I regret I can’t pay my respects in person as I’ll be out of town during the funeral. I know my parents, Joan and Gordon, have welcomed Rex and are probably enjoying the best golf courses they’ve ever played. May our good memories and loving thoughts be a comfort to you.

Dearest Carol, we were saddened by Rex’s passing. However, he is at peace. Blessings to all his kids and yours and their families and to you. Ron and Ed treasure their memories on and off the course and their many golfing trips to Western Nebraska & Pennsylvania! (especially when one of their trips included the wives) Decades of fun filled stories that we shall cling onto until we meet again. We know he’s already got a standing tee time in place! Love, Ed & Pammy

Carol and family—our deepest sympathies to all of you in the loss of Rex. He was one of the State Farm family that most people in the office knew, and Rex touched many lives in a positive way. I have two special stories about the many times he and I played golf together. Once when one of a group behind us hit me with their drive. I calmly hit that ball two fairways over, and Rex said to me, “Best #$&* shot of the day, Bruce.” And I also witnessed one of his holes-in-one. It was special. May the memories you also have help sustain you and your family during this difficult time. You’re in our prayers, Carol.
