Marlin P. Eggerling, 80, of Lincoln, passed away on June 26, 2017. Born March 1, 1937 to Alfred and Esther (Hindrich) Eggerling in Milford, NE. Marlin worked as a Distributer and Manager for Cutco Sales for many years. He loved to travel, especially loved cruises, and mostly cherished his time spent with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Betty Eggerling; daughters, Julie (Steve) Swanson; Carla (Mark) Sander; grandchildren, Christopher (Krista) Weber, Anne Wallace and Alex Wallace; Conrad Sander and Karson Sander; sister, Erma (Ronald) Wekesser; brother, Richard (Nancy) Eggerling; numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ralph.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday (7-3-17) at Sheridan Lutheran Church, 6955 Old Cheney Rd. Burial at Lincoln Memorial Park.
A visitation with family greeting friends will be held Sunday (7-2-17) from 5-7 p.m at Roper and Sons Funeral Home, 4300 ‘O’ St.
