Jerry grew up in Hastings, NE and graduated from Hastings High School in 1976. He then attended Kearney State College.
Most of Jerry’s career was spent in the manufacturing industry and recently home remodeling. He enjoyed reading, fishing, boating, cruising on his motorcycle, watching his children play softball, cheering for the Kansas City Royals and watching NASCAR.
Family members include his daughters Heather Behrendt and Branda Crawford, both of Holdrege, Chelsea Gengenbach, Eustis, and Kayla Mascher, Lincoln; brother-in-law Billy Dittmer, Columbus; step mother Laura Jackson, Hastings.
Preceded in death by his father Jack Archer, brother Dan Archer, and sisters Sandra Dittmer and Karon Lytle.
A graveside service will be at 11:00 am Saturday, April 6, 2024 in the Juniata Cemetery with Pastor Dan Albers officiating.
